1. Who we are

4T Improvements LLC is a home remodeling company in Mineral Wells, Texas. This policy covers the website at 4timprovements.com. It explains what information the website handles, why, and what choices you have.

2. What information is involved

Information you choose to give us

This website has no forms and no accounts, so it doesn’t collect your contact details itself. When you call, text, or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share: usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job, and a description of the work.

Information recorded when you visit

• Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity). How each page loaded and how it was used: mouse movement, clicks and taps, scrolling, which pages were viewed, and technical details such as browser, device type, screen size, and operating system. Microsoft processes your IP address to provide the service and may use it to estimate your general location, such as your country.
• Server logs (Netlify). Like almost every website, our host records basic request information: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time.
• Fonts (Google Fonts). Your browser downloads the site’s typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details to deliver them.

3. How we use Microsoft Clarity, and how we don’t

We use Clarity for one purpose: to find and fix problems with the website. When someone tells us a page isn’t working or something looks broken, we review the recordings to see what went wrong, then correct it.

We do not use Clarity recordings to:

• advertise or market to you;
• build a profile of you, or follow you across other websites;
• work out who you are; or
• sell, rent, or hand over to anyone for their own marketing.

We’ve set Clarity up without cookies (see section 5). In that mode, Clarity gives each page view its own ID and doesn’t connect page views to each other or to a returning visitor.

4. How we use information you give us

We use it to answer you, quote the job, schedule and complete the work, and keep a record of it. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.

5. Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set cookies. We run Microsoft Clarity in what Microsoft calls “no-consent mode,” in which Clarity sets no first-party or third-party cookies.

While a page is open, Clarity keeps one short identifier (named _cltk) in your browser’s session storage. Your browser deletes it when you close the tab. The website stores nothing else on your device.

6. Companies that handle data for us

• Microsoft (Clarity): session recording. Microsoft stores recordings in its Azure cloud and makes them available to us for up to 30 days. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Netlify: hosts this website. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
• Google: delivers the website’s fonts, and hosts our email, so messages you send us pass through Gmail. See Google’s privacy policy.

7. How long information is kept

• Clarity recordings: up to 30 days, after which Microsoft no longer makes them available to us.
• Messages, texts, and job records: as long as we need them for our business, such as answering warranty questions, taxes, and our own records.
• Server logs: according to Netlify’s own retention practices.

8. Your choices and rights

Opting out of session recording

Clarity honors the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, Clarity respects it. You can also opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page by selecting Microsoft, or block scripts from clarity.ms in your browser.

Your information

You can ask us what information we have from you, or ask us to correct it. Call us at (940) 452-0328 or email 4T.homerepairs@gmail.com, and we’ll respond within 45 days.

You can also ask us to delete it. We’ll do that where we can, but we may keep records we still need, such as those for a job we did for you, warranty work, or taxes.

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

10. Where data is processed

We’re based in Texas, and the companies listed above process data in the United States and wherever else they operate. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
