Bathroom remodeling in Mineral Wells, Texas

Vanities, tubs and tile showers, floors, and the rotted subfloor underneath — rebuilt right, quoted straight, and finished by the crew that walked the job. 4T Improvements remodels bathrooms across Mineral Wells and the surrounding Palo Pinto and Parker County towns.

What a bathroom remodel covers

Fixed under the tile, not just over it.

Bathrooms are where an older house tells on itself. A soft spot by the toilet usually means the subfloor and joists have been wet for years, and no amount of new tile on top of that lasts. We open it up, rebuild what’s gone, and then make it look good — in that order.

  • Subfloor & joist rebuilds where water damage has gotten underneath
  • Tile showers and tub surrounds, waterproofed before a single tile goes up
  • Vanities, tops & mirrors — single or double, set level and plumbed in
  • Floors — tile, hex, or waterproof plank laid straight and sealed
  • Walls, texture & trim brought back to match the rest of the house
  • Tub-to-shower conversions and walk-in showers for easier access

Walk the bathroom

Show us the room and where it’s failing. We’ll check the floor for soft spots and tell you what we expect to find underneath.

Straight quote

A clear price before demo, with an honest heads-up on what rot behind the wall would change if we hit it.

Rebuilt, then finished

Structure and waterproofing first, tile and fixtures second, and the room handed back clean.

Bathroom questions

Asked before most bathroom remodels.

My floor feels soft by the toilet — is that a big job?

It means water has been getting under the tile, usually for a while. We pull the floor, replace the rotted subfloor and any joists that have gone, and rebuild from there. It’s common in older Mineral Wells homes and it’s exactly the kind of job we’d rather you catch now than next year.

How long will I be without the bathroom?

A standard bathroom runs about one to two weeks. If the subfloor has to come out and get rebuilt, add a few days. We tell you the window up front so you can plan around it.

Can you convert a tub into a walk-in shower?

Yes, and it’s one of the more common remodels we do — especially for folks who want it easier to step into. We’ll price the tile, the pan, and the glass with the rest of the quote.

Do you waterproof behind the tile?

Always. Shower walls and pans get proper waterproofing before tile goes on. Tile set straight onto bare board is the reason a lot of the bathrooms we’re called to rebuild failed in the first place.
